The House of Birds

The House of Birds is a collection of 39 poems and illustrations that explore what it means to call a place a home. It is specifically a reflection on the experience of moving from the oceanic coasts of Washington to the mountains and high deserts of Colorado. Somewhere along rivers, through heartaches, in the names of plants, in quiet solitude, and in the songs of birds, home is found.
